Discover with us the Lipovan village Mila23, the most developed touristic destination in the wonderful Danube Delta, on a route that includes the areas where the great champion Ivan Patzaikin has trained.

Join a GROUP of up to 10 persons for a day trip in the Danube Delta, departing from Tulcea to Mila23 village. The trip takes about 6-7 hours.

Schedule

9:45 a.m. – Meeting at the boarding point | 10:00 a.m. – Departure from Tulcea (by boat) | about 5:00 p.m. – Return to the boarding point in Tulcea

Meeting and boarding

The trip starts from Port Tulcea Aval, at 10:00 a.m. For boarding and lunch reservations, we are waiting for you at 9:45 a.m.

The route: Start from Tulcea, the guide will always choose the best route, depending on the water levels and weather conditions, will follow wild small channels and lakes, searching for birds and mammals, for special flora of the season and other natural attractions. Waterlilies beds, flocks of Pelicans fishing, roosting or soaring, White-tailed Eagles or Kingfishers are only few examples of what are our targets to show you.

 This route will take about 3 hours. At Mila23 you can visit the village, you can have a traditional lunch based on fish in an authentic Lipovan household (optional). After lunch the way back will be done with a slightly faster speed, also on a touristic route.

Arrive to the boarding point in Tulcea at around 5:00 P.M.

The trip is done with an OPEN BOAT, with no roof, tarpaulin or windows. The boat looks like in the photos on the website. The speed for our trips is low/medium, our boats are NOT speed boats. Are built by the best Romanian boats manufacturer, according to our concept. All our boats have benches with backrests for a good comfort. Every person on the boat will receive a life jacket, mandatory to wear it during the boat trip.

The price of this trip is

EURO 60/person

The price is per person, it is expressed in Euro (EUR) and includes VAT.

We finished this program for 2022 season.

In November we’ll publish the program for 2023 season.

The price includes

  • A place on the boat for the Tulcea – Mila 23 – Tulcea trip.
  • ENGLISH guidance
  • Fees for visiting the Danube Delta imposed by the authorities (ARBDD)

The price does NOT include

  • Beverages, other than water at lunch
  • Lunch in Mila 23 village, in local household – EURO 14/person. The booking is made in the departure morning, at the boarding point. The payment for the lunch is done directly to the local household, cash in RON or EURO.
  • Insurance of any kind (travel, goods etc.)

Children policy

  • The minimum age for participating in this trip is 5 years (children born since 2017)
  • Children pay the full price, regardless their age (1 place on the boat).

Guaranteed departure:

  • With minimum 6 subscribed persons.

Shared program

Being a SHARED program, this means the whole group goes with the same car / boat, at the same hours (hours detailed in the program).

Personal equipment

  • Long pants and blouses with long sleeves to protect you from the sun
  • Sun hat (not cap)
  • Sunglasses
  • Jacket
  • Raincoat
  • Hiking shoes

 

Please take these recommendations very seriously, the weather in the Danube Delta can be very capricious and you may suffer if you are not well protected.

Bookings

Request a booking implies acceptance of the terms and conditions.

Payments can be done by bank transfer, PayPal or any kind of Card, through EuPlatesc (iPay) system.

Cancellation Policy:

  • With more than 60 days before tour, half of the payment amount will be refund
  • Less than 60 days before tour, the payment is not refundable
