Birdwatching to Dobruja and the Danube Delta, 7d/6n Private Tour

Danube Delta is the water kingdom and Dobruja is the opposite, dry land of many kinds: steppe, forest, plains, hills, dwarf mountains, sea shore. Imagine how many species of birds you can see!

You’ll have a complete tour, covering different habitats, homes of many different species of birds. All this program is lead by a specialized birdwatching guide.

Itinerary

Day 1: We wait for you in Tulcea, at the hotel in the afternoon (we will send you all the details about the adress by email) and have a short meeting to know each other and to inform you about the program for next day.

Days 2 and 3: Are dedicated to mainland, from the dwarf mountains in the North Dobrogea, to the sea shore in South Dobrogea. Every season the guide will choose the best route to find the birds on your target list.

Overnight and dinners in Tulcea hotel.

Day 4: This day will be half on the mainland, meaning a morning tour to Dobrogea, lunch in Tulcea then transfer by boat to Mila23 village, in the middle of the Danube Delta. The transfer will be done also by slow speed and you’ll see your first birds already.

Days 5 and 6: At sunrise is the departure to the birding tour by boat, for 4-5 hours then come back for breakfast and some rest. Late lunch then evening tour, for the last 4 hours of light.

Day 7: Relaxed breakfast then transfer by boat to Tulcea where our tour end.

* If you choose the transfer from the airport with us, we can make a route with several stops in interesting places where we also see several species of birds.

The boat

This trip is done with an OPEN BOAT

The boat looks like in the photos on the website. The speed for our trips is low/medium, our boats are NOT speed boats. These are boats manufactured according to our concept.

All our boats have benched and backrests for a maxim comfort. Every person on the boat will receive a life jacket, mandatory to wear it during the boat trip.
