The house Alexandru and Alexandra is rated at 3 stars and it is located right on the banks of the Old Danube in the middle of the village. It is a small, family-friendly, clean and quiet guesthouse with 8 rooms. Besides the heated pool you can also enjoy a wonderful flower garden.

Since 2018 we started colaborating with this guesthouse and we have received only positive reviews.

Daniela and Victor, the owners of the guesthouse, flawlessly cook traditional recipes from fresh or processed fish (salted, dried, marinated). All meals offered in the Discover Danube Delta programs are based on local dishes, especially made from fish.

The reputation of this guesthouse has been built year by year based on the exceptional cuisine, the fresh and tasty dishes prepared by Daniela.

Whether it is a Lipovan broth (bors), a malasolca, a plachia, a “saramura” or a simple fried fish with polenta and garlic sauce, everything is superlative. Well cooked, beautifully presented, served on time.

The meals offered in our programs are provided in a “guesthouse menu” system, meaning the same menu is cooked for everyone, as with a single cooker we cannot offer à la carte menus. Of course, the menu is made after a prior consultation with customers. If you want a menu without fish or vegetarian you will receive these options without any problems (but you have no idea what you’re missing on!).

The guesthouse lounge has 40 seats, for larger groups we can accommodate guests in 2 separate guesthouses and the whole group can have the meals on the terrace of this guesthouse.

Guesthouse Alexandru and Alexandra (3***) has 2 triple rooms (double bed plus single bed), 4 double rooms with matrimonial beds, 2 twin rooms (two beds). The rooms are not very big but it provides all the necessary comfort, they are equipped with TV, AC, well-equipped private bathrooms.

The double and twin rooms are on the 1^st floor and the 2 triple rooms are in the mansard. Access to the floors is done via the outside staircase.

Guesthouse facilities: own central heating system and solar panels for heating and hot water, restaurant and terrace (large), wireless internet, TV, sun beds, heated pool, children’s playground, gazebo.

Room facilities: air conditioning, TV, Wi-Fi. All windows are protected with mosquito nets.

At the bathroom you have towels, soap and shampoo.

The yard is small but very well arranged, you have at your disposal the terrace where you can have a meal or enjoy a glass of wine.

Smoking is PROHIBITED inside the house (both in the rooms and in the lounge).
