If you think to a birding trip to Romania, Dobruja (including the Danube Delta) is the richest place in birds so it’s a MUST to visit this area. More then 370 species of birds can be seen here, during a year (4 seasons).

Birds check list of Dobruja and the Danube Delta is built by our team, based on our guides observations list, reports on rombird.ro website and Dobruja ringing camps reports. We try to keep it updated every month with news about species and quantities of birds seen here.

From the traditional list of birds of Dobruja, we remove species unseen in the last 20 years and we added new species, based on the last year reports or seen by our guides team.
