The Danube Delta lake trip departing from Mila23 village is dedicated to our tourists that are enrolled in the programs of Discover the Danube Delta.
We make this trip in 2 stages, with a lunch break. Each stage lasts 4 hours and we will take you to the most beautiful places in the area of Mila23 village.
The morning trip starts after breakfast, at 9:30 a.m., and it lasts until 1:30 p.m., when we get back for lunch.
We go on the evening trip from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., so that you have time for a little rest after lunch.
We include in our trips the lakes Trei Iezere, Radacinos, Bogdaproste, Babina, Matita, Merhei, Furtuna, and others, as well as the beautiful canals between these lakes. We are permanently looking for birdwatching places with flocks of pelicans fishing on lakes or resting on the banks, places where spectacular terns go fishing, or spots with shorebirds. We search for places where you can see the flora of each season, from spring flowers to the water lily carpets and the autumn flowers. Our tour guides know how to show you the beauties of this place in any season and to talk to you about them as well.
Depending on the time of the year when you choose to go on the trip, the water level and the information we get on site, we will choose daily the route that is the most appropriate for this trip.
Our speed is low, we do not go on fast trips, as we want to show you as much as possible from what the fabulous nature surrounding us has to offer, so that you can understand the beauty and diversity of the Danube Delta. We will keep a slow pace both on canals and lakes and we will make stops whenever we find something interesting to see.
The boats by which we take this trip are open boats designed for trips (the same as in our photos). They have no tops and they are neither speedboats nor large ship. These are boats that were built for us, exclusively for tours, which barely reach into the water and do not have any roof. This is how we can get into beautiful wild places where there are plenty of things to see and where large boats or covered speedboats cannot get in.
