Yes. Our tours are running normally, and there are no restrictions affecting our tourist boats.

Why are there warnings about the Danube’s water level?

The low-water warnings reported in the media are primarily intended for commercial navigation.

Large cargo vessels and barge convoys require deep navigation channels to operate safely. When the river level drops, authorities may issue navigation warnings or impose restrictions for these heavy commercial vessels.

These warnings do not apply to the small boats used for tourism in the Danube Delta.

The Danube Delta is different from the river itself

An important point to understand is that the news reports usually refer to the main navigable sections of the Danube River, where commercial shipping takes place.

The Danube Delta is a completely different environment. Instead of a single navigation channel, it consists of an extensive network of river branches, canals and lakes, allowing tourist boats to travel along many different routes.

Our boats are specifically designed for navigating the Delta. They have a very shallow draft and can safely operate in water as shallow as 30-40 cm (12-16 inches).
