This is our exclusive SMALL GROUP Birdwatching Tour to the Danube Delta, a 5d/4n program, with 3 days of guided birding to the best spots of the Danube Delta. A day on lakes, for waterbirds, a day to Letea for water/forest/saltwater birds and a day to Caraorman for shore/freshwater birds. The whole program is led by a professional birdwatching guide in the Danube Delta. We are doing this tour with max 8 pers per group.
What is included: Transfers on water from Tulcea to Mila23 and back, 4 nights of accommodation in a 3* guesthouse in Mila23 Village, right in the middle of the Danube Delta, half board (breakfasts and dinners), a very good professional birdwatching guide, 3 days boat tours dedicated to birding, starting at sunrise.

- Insurance of any kind (travel, goods, etc.)
Children policy:
- Minimum age to participate is 12
- Children over 12 years are charged as adults
- Responsibility of children’s supervision during trips belong to parents
- All children will wear life jackets during boat trips

Meeting and boarding
The departure for this holiday is from Port Tulcea Aval. In order to complete the payments (if any) and to communicate regarding the boat you will go to Mila23, we will be waiting for you at our boarding point, at 15:30.The cars can be parked in the Port yard, in a private parking, at a cost of 6 euro/day/car (the parking price is not included in the tour price).
Transfer and accommodation at the guesthouse
The transfer is done with medium speed, through one of the most beautiful parts on Danube Delta, searching for birds all the way, until arrive in Mila 23 Village. Usually, the transfer takes 2-2,5 hours. During the trip, we will have enough time to talk about the program for next day, details about boat rules, Danube Delta particularities.
In the evening, the host will await you with a delicious dinner.
Days 2, 3 and 4 – Half an hour before sunrise start the sunrise trip | Breakfast | Departure to the day trip | at sunset Dinner
This days, every day, half an hour before sunrise start an early morning trip searching for different kind of birds. The guide will choose the best destination every day, based on our fresh information about birds.
Come back for breakfast then start again on a day trip, on three different type of habitats, to maximize the chances to see the largest number of species of birds.
Breakfast and dinner at the accommodation, lunches (optional) on the way, during the trip. The guide will give you all the details every day.
Day 5 – 8:30 Breakfast | 9:30 Transfer to Tulcea | Around 12:00 Arrive to Tulcea
Also this transfer is done with medium speed, mostly on the same way as on Day1, searching for the last birds to show you.

This program is running with minimum 2 persons subscribed.
Shared Program
Being a SHARED program, this means the whole group goes with the same car/boat, at the same hours (hours detailed in the program). Please be on board at scheduled time for both.

The most important thing for us, when we decide the route, is to know your target birds list. Please see the birds check list of Dobruja and the Danube Delta and tell us the species you want to see most of all. Please download the list from here:

Bookings are based on 30% deposit. You’ll receive a payment link.
More then 90 days before the program you can postpone the trip ( you will receive a voucher available 2 years). Less then 90 days before the trip, the deposit is non refundable.
