Birdwatching Tour to the Danube Delta - PRIVATE

The Danube Delta is rightly called the paradise of birds in Europe, where over 360 bird species live or pass through this blessed space.

As a showcase of how we work, we can tell you that we are specialized in slow tours, to discover the full offer of the Danube Delta nature, not just see / tick but sit and watch birds and animals, trying to reveal as much of their way of life. We love to discover something new each time for every species, not only identification but also the particular aspects of their lives. All this program is led by a specialized birdwatching guide.

This is a birdwatching tour for tourists who desire a private trip, with a guide only for them. This offer includes transfers from Tulcea to Mila23 and return, accommodation in highly rated 3* guesthouse, all meals, guide, boat trips for all days.

Birdwatching tour 7 days / 6 nights (or less)

This offer is for small, exclusive groups, where your group have all attention of the guide. The program is not standard, depending on weather, natural conditions, water levels or other factors that make the birds migrate from one place to another, depending on your preferences, we can always adjust the program and explore any part of the Delta Danube.

Itinerary:

Day 1: We will wait for you at Port Aval – Tulcea, at 16:00 (or at the hour we agree together). We will head to Mila 23, slowly, on a beautiful route where you’ll already see your fist birds. The transfer takes 2-2,5 hours.

In the evening you will have a dinner based on fresh fish.

Days 2-6 – The trips to the Danube Delta will begin early in the morning, before sunrise. You can choose between a longer session in the morning, with breakfast to go, or to come back to the accommodation for breakfast, then start another tour.

Depending by the season, your target list and our fresh information from the area, the guide will decide the route of the day.

Day 7: After a relaxed breakfast (9:00 am), this time without a sunrise session, you will head back to Tulcea, in the morning, having the best light for this route.

* If you choose the transfer from the airport with us, we can make a route with several stops in interesting places where we also see several species of birds.
