Itinerary

Day 1

The guide will pick you up from any address in Tulcea city. For other locations, please request price.

The meeting hour will be agreed at least 2 days before. The guide is available starting with 6:00 A.M. Of course, it is your time, you can set the hour of departure as you wish (just let us know).

The tour is done with a 4X4 car. You will head to Dobrudja best areas for Geese, we really want to check the stars, Red-breasted Geese, then you will target other species. The tour will include fields, grazing places, lakes for drinking / roosting, canals, sea shore, marshland, steppe. All kind of Dobrudja habitats.

Daylight its about 8 hours so we suggest you to bring packed breakfast and lunch, to use the time at maximum for birding. The same for next day. If you prefer cooked food, the guide knows some nice places.

At sunset the guide will drive you to the accommodation.

Day 2

You will start in the morning, at requested hour, and you will continue to discover the amazing Dobrudja places and birds. The landscapes are also spectacular. The guide will take you to see different habitats then the previous day, to see different species of birds.

At sunset the guide will drive you to the accommodation. The tour is ending on arrival.

The price of this tour is:

800 euro/trip

Payments

You can pay online, by card, through EuPlatesc (iPay) system, by PayPal or by bank transfer.

The car

Is a 4X4 vehicle, equipped for heavy terrain, large and comfortable.

Itinerary

It is based on fresh information we have from the field, the guide will decide the route every day.

We will use all daylight for birding and you will be dropped off after sunset, if you do not request an earlier hour.

The guide

Our main activity in Dobrudja and the Danube Delta is GUIDING birders and photographers and we have the best professional guides for this activities. All our guides are members of APGDD (Association of Professional Guides in the Danube Delta).

Please have on you:

  • Raincoat
  • Winter boots
  • Season appropriate clothing. Clothing with colors close to nature are recommended; red, white, yellow and blue are to be avoided
  • Cap
  • Gloves

Even if you’ll go by car, you’ll stay some time outside, to watch the birds.

*Extreme conditions:

In case of extreme weather conditions (snow, roads closed) occurred before the start of the tour, the deposit will be returned in full.

If these extreme conditions occur during the tour, the price will be lowered only for the remaining part of the program not made.

If customers come from another country / region and extreme weather conditions occurs, our agency have no obligation to compensate customers in any way for expenses related to flights or other transportation. Also, if extreme weather conditions occurs during the program and the clients can’t go back home, our agency have no obligation to pay accommodation and other additional expenses.
