Enjoy in an intimate background of a short but intense experiences on a guided boat trip to the Danube Delta, in the morning or in the evening. Discover Sontea Channel, on a scenic route, on small lakes and channels.

This is a PRIVATE program, you’ll have a boat and a guide only for your party. The morning tour start at sunrise time, the evening tour is on the last 4 hours of daylight. This is a very good option for travelers who want to see a natural Delta, without the speed boats traffic but full of birds, also, in mid summer to avoid the midday heat.

Tulcea – Sontea – about 4 hours, morning or evening

Departing from Tulcea on the Danube’s Tulcea Branch, you’ll enter in the Danube Delta after 15 minutes. From there, a chain of small channels and lakes will take you SLOWLY, along Sontea Channel, in some interesting parts of the Danube Delta.

The route is carefully choose by our guides, according to the season, water level, weather and … years of knowledge about the Danube Delta. The scenic route is very rich in fauna and flora of this nature’s paradise. This route will take about 4 hours.

The price of this trips is:

  • 1-5 persons group – 250 euro/boat

  • 6-10 persons group – 300 euro/boat

The recommended departure time is 4 hours before sunset, this way you can enjoy the golden light of the evening.

Children policy

Children, regardless of their age, are counted as one person when the total number of persons in the boat is calculated (maximum 6 or maximum 11 persons in a group, depending on the boat).

This trip is done with an OPEN BOAT

The boat looks like in the photos on the website. The speed for our trips is low/medium, our boats are NOT speed boats. These are boats manufactured according to our concept.

All our boats have benches and backrests for a maxim comfort. Every person on the boat will receive a life jacket, mandatory to wear it during the boat trip. We want to show you the beauties of the Danube Delta, to see birds in flight and flocks of pelicans soaring.

*For groups larger than 11 persons we can use 2 or more boats

  • Long pants and blouses with long sleeves to protect you from the sun
  • Sun hat (not cap)
  • Sunglasses
  • Jacket
  • Raincoat

Please take these recommendations very seriously, the weather in the Danube Delta can be very capricious and you may suffer if you are not well protected.

Bookings

Bookings are based on a 50% deposit.

Request a booking implies acceptance of the terms and conditions.

The payment options are: cash, online card payment bank transfer or Revolut.

Cancellation Policy:

More then 90 days before the program you can postpone the trip (you will receive a voucher available 2 years). Less then 90 days before the trip, the deposit is non refundable.
