Booking
- Bookings are based on 30% deposit. You’ll receive a payment link.
Included in this price:
- Accommodation at 3* guesthouse, in double room, for 3 nights
- Half board (dinner on the first day, breakfast and dinner for days 2 and 3 breakfast on day 4)
- ENGLISH guidance – specialized birding guide
- 2 and half days birding tours on mainland (car and low level trekking)
- Fees for visiting the natural areas visited.
Optionally:
- Lunch meal – the price is 15-25 euro/pers in local restaurant, on the way, usually pay in cash.
- Bucharest (including Airport) transfers – 300 euro/car/one way for 1-6 persons
The price does not include:
- Beverages, other than water
- Lunch meal
- Insurance of any kind (travel, goods, etc.)
Cancellation policy
- More then 90 days before the program you can postpone the trip ( you will receive a voucher available 2 years).
- Less then 90 days before the trip, the deposit is non refundable.
Children policy:
- Minimum age to participate is 12
- Children over 12 years are charged as adults
- Responsibility of children’s supervision during trips belong to parents
- All children will wear life jackets during boat trips
Itinerary
Day 1 – Arrival & Evening Birding Session
- Pick-up from Port Aval upon return from the Danube Delta tour
- Transfer to your accommodation in Tulcea and check-in
- Free time to relax before heading out for an afternoon/evening birding session
- Depending on the season and your target species, the guide will plan the route for optimal sightings
- Dinner at the accommodation
Days 2 & 3 – Full-Day Birding in North and South Dobrogea
- Early departure before breakfast (optional breakfast to go)
- Full-day guided birding tour, covering different regions:
- Northern Dobrogea: Hills, rocky outcrops, steppe, and forest patches
- Southern Dobrogea: Lakes, marshes, and open grasslands
- Lunch stop at a local restaurant or picnic-style in nature (not included)
- Return to accommodation in the afternoon
- Dinner at the accommodation
Day 4 – Morning Birding & Departure
- Breakfast at the accommodation
- Morning birding session if time allows
- End of the program in Tulcea
- If you have booked a transfer with us, we will arrange transportation from your accommodation
Group Confirmation
This program is running with minimum 2 persons subscribed.
Shared Program
Being a SHARED program, this means the whole group goes with the same car/boat, at the same hours (hours detailed in the program). Please be on board at scheduled time for both.
