Nena Art Resort by Sharaiman sits in Dunavatu de Jos, exactly where the Danube Delta meets Dobrogea. The property is easy to reach by car, with parking available right in the courtyard, no boat transfer needed to get there. Two buildings share the same relaxed spirit: Nena Art Resort, with comfortable rooms and a swimming pool, and Sharaiman, the original property just two minutes on foot away, home to the restaurant and a second pool.

Sfântu Gheorghe, a Full Day on the Danube Delta’s Best Known Arm

One full day is set aside for a boat trip to Sfântu Gheorghe, one of the most beautiful and best known arms of the Danube Delta, with free time on the beach for anyone who simply wants sun and sea. These are calm, sightseeing boat trips, at the pace of a local boatman who has spent his life on these channels and lets the Danube Delta’s scenery and wildlife do most of the talking.

Perișor, a Half Day to the Danube Delta’s Wild Beach

A shorter, half day outing follows the Danube Delta’s channels to Perișor, a wild beach far from the crowds. The rest of the afternoon is left open, for rest by the pool or a quiet walk around the property.

Pool Days and Slow Afternoons

With two pools to choose from, one at Nena Art Resort and one at Sharaiman, there is plenty of room to simply do nothing, read, swim, and enjoy long meals at the restaurant.
