Schedule:

Day 1: 15:30 – Meeting/boarding | 16:00 – Departure from Murighiol (by boat) | 18:00 – Check in  | 19:00 – Dinner

The departure for this tour is from Star 2000 Parking – Murighiol, at 16:00.

Transfers are done with the resort boats and take about 1 hour (fast transfer). At Holbina you will be greeted by the resort staff for check-in. In the evening, you are welcome in the resort restaurant for a delicious dinner.

You can opt for an hour-long trip at sunset, inside the complex. As an optional trip, attendance must be requested at booking.

Day 2: 8:30 – Breakfast | 9:30-13:30 – Boat trip to Holbina enclosure | 14:00 – Lunch | Free time | 20:30 – Dinner

The trip to Holbina enclosure

After breakfast you will explore an 1200ha protected, private natural area where the tranquility of the nature sanctuary will relax you. Many birds and mammals find refuge here for nesting or feeding.

Free time

Free time can be spent at the 2 swimming pools (adults and children). For active ones, the resort offers 25 kayaks, ideal for a short trip to the sunset.

Day 3: Sunrise boat trip | 8:30 – Breakfast | 9: 30- Departure for the trip to Gura Portiței | 20:30 – Dinner

Sunrise trip (optional)

If you wish to take part in the sunrise trip, announce the reception the night before (when you will be informed of your departure time). The trip to sunrise takes place in Holbina or outside, depending by the wind and lasts about an hour.

The trip to Gura Portiței

After breakfast, depart to Gura Portiței, passing over Lake Razim, also called the freshwater sea of Romania. The clean water, the multitude of fresh and salt water birds, the absolute silence, create the perfect setting to reach the fragile coastal cordon that separates the Black Sea from the Danube Delta reserve, for thousands of years. It is a unique, wild destination and at the same time the perfect choice for the beach and lunch at the local restaurant (optional). The boat meeting and departure to Holbina is at 17:00.

Day 4: 8:30 – Breakfast | 9: 30- Boarding for transfer to Murighiol | 11:30 – Landing at Murighiol, end of the program.

After breakfast you will have the transfer back to Murighiol where we say goodbye.

• * The agenda of the trips may be different.
• ** In case of days with strong wind and big waves on Razim Lake, the trip to Gura Portiței will change with a trip to Perisor (wild beach), which does not require crossing the lake.

Are you a fisherman?

You can replace one or both day trips with pike fishing in Holbina. This must be set on booking.

It is fished exclusively catch&release system!

Fishing, big pike and relaxation

For the option you choose to go fishing, you can start the day at any time you want, just let the staff know the night before. On this day you have included the 3 meals of the day. For breakfast and/or lunch, you can choose between dining in the restaurant or to go. In summer, the lunch break is really welcome.

Fishing boat

Fishing boats are very spacious (7m long), ideal for 2-3 fishermen. Each boat is equipped with thermic engine (gasoline), electric motor, long oar and a big landing net, which you can use when catching large pike to avoid injuring them. Fishing on the premises is done only with the acceptance of the fishing regulations of the Holbina resort – 3 Bibani. You must bring all your fishing gear.
