The Dalmatian Pelican is a 3 stars guesthouse in the Mila23 village, the Danube Delta, located right on the canal bank behind the village. This guesthouse is built in the traditional local style, covered with reed. The administration of the house is made in the family and the kitchen is left in the care of the host, Alexandra, who cooks extraordinarily. Everything is new and the house is clean and well maintained.

One of the strengths of the accommodation in this guesthouse are the triple rooms, dedicated to families with children. Thus, in the room you have a matrimonial bed and a single bed (adult size). All rooms have private bathrooms.

The cuisine of this guesthouse is mainly based on the traditional fresh fish dishes but, on request, they can offer menus without fish, vegetarian or fasting menus.

Meals are one of the strengths of this guesthouse, and you can eat very well here, as in all of our locations.

Meals are taken in the dining room or in the pavilion. The host cooks exceptionally well, especially traditional fresh fish dishes, captured on the same day.

Because The Dalmatian Pelican is a small guesthouse, the meals are served in a guesthouse system, meaning that the same menu is cooked for everyone, of course after a preliminary discussion with the tourists. Therefore, if a fish borsch is cooked you can no longer order chicken soup or beef stock when you sit down at the table.

There are 7 accommodation rooms: 3 triple rooms (one double bed and one single bed), 2 twin rooms (two single beds) and 2 matrimonial rooms (1 double bed).

The matrimonial rooms and one of the twin rooms are located on the ground floor of the guesthouse, this being the only guesthouse with rooms on the ground floor.

The guesthouse does not have any rooms with a view towards the water.

Rooms facilities: private bathroom, TV, AC, Wi-Fi. All windows are protected with mosquito nets.

In the bathroom you have towels, soap and shampoo.

The courtyard is not very big, but it is very well arranged. Here you will find two rocking chairs and a small place for coffee/smoking. In front of the house there is another courtyard, located right on the bank of the canal, where you have available a veranda where you can have a meal or enjoy a coffee/beer/wine. If you want to stay in the evening for a glass of wine, this pavilion is wonderful because from here you will not disturb those who sleep in the house.

Smoking is PROHIBITED inside the house (both in the rooms and in the lounge).

Guesthouse facilities: own thermal station for heating and hot water, restaurant with air conditioning, TV, barbecue.
